UNESCO, mashed potatoe heritage

Land-eat-art model-railway size

6th of June 1998
Mashed potatoe performance: the cook creates a landscape from instant mashed potatoes on green artificial lawn: microwaved broccoli trees line potatoe roads, canned carrot bollards, canned mixed veggis, best quality butter, fish finger cars crash and blood is spilt from a ketchup bottle. For dessert a blue jell-o lake with canned whipped cram.
The festival guests hungrily attack the foodscape with plastic spoons, animated by the experimental sound of g ess zeitblom and Ulrich Schlotmann’s poem UNESCO.
from UNESCO by Ulrich Schlotman, freely translated by Kriegerowski:
All this Timbuktu rag
all this barrier reef ruin
all this kyoto nonsense
all this uffici-rubbish.

All this Toledo Dilemma
All this Lake Baikal bally-hoo
All this Silk road hoopla
and this constant Messel pit humbug …
