Der Rollfondant lag seit drei Jahren im Schrank und ich wusste nie, was er kaschieren sollte. Bis ich die Felge (Radzierblende, so ein Ding zur Verzierung der Räder, Material: Plastik) fand, vor Ruß und Schmutz starrend. Erinnerte mich an meine Felgenmandalas von 2006/7. Und rollte den Rollfondant aus, nur dass der seit 2017 etwas an Elastizität verloren hatte und zu klein war. Hab ihn dann noch etwas angemalt.
The rolled fondant had been sitting in the kitchen cupboard for three years, and I never knew what it should conceal. Until I found the rim (wheel trim, used to decorate wheels, material: plastic), full of soot and dirt. Reminded me of my rim mandalas from 2006/7. So I rolled out the sugarpaste, only that it was too small and had lost some elasticity since 2017 – who hasn’t?. Then I painted it a bit.
